So glad we're back. Should be interesting to see how cars cope with the bumps. Has it been resurfaced at all since '19? Expecting Charles to do his typical magic in Q3

The 2019 lap does look very bumpy. Infact it looks a bit more bumpier than Baku. I wonder if this will highlight if the teams have fully fixed the porpoising issues, or they will run at a slightly higher rear like teams did in Spa.

I wonder which teams will be compromised the most and who will be vocal about the bouncing.

I doubt if anyone is going to make noise about bumpy rides as whatever teams could have bargained for 2023, has been done. I don't think anything would change or even FIA would entertain anything on that matter. There is already a vertical oscillation measure in place and all that FIA would say is, stick to that and if that means if a team has to raise the ride ride height to keep a car away from bumps, so be it. I really don't see anyone making any noise.

These lazy lethergic cars would be real boats in Singapore I guess.

As usual, it will come down to the inevitable Safety Car and its timing. I expect LeC to put it into the wall at some point during the race...

And 2010 showed that the best race EVER in Singapore was Fernando's Ferrari on the razors edge doing quali laps the entire race, and Vettel in the RedBull staying within touching distance while suffering in Alonso's dirty air. So all DRS trains aren't terrible to watch.

I feel that race might have spurred the introduction of DRS now that I think of it...

Apart from Suzuka, this is probably the one race I've been looking forward to most this season. One of my favourite tracks on the calendar, but I worry it was because it was more unique because of the night race and being a street track, both of those have become less unique since its last race.

Spa? Despite some rain drama, Spa was rather boring from the point of races in my point of view. And without rain it was not challenging the last two decades.
Plus the worst race to be on site...ok maybe better than Saudi.

I think Spore is on a completely different level. Always drama, always challenging, always errors. Plus the best track to be on site as a spectator on the calendar.
