Absolutely fantastic Q3. Congratulations to the top three, real shane Max couldn't finish his lap. Couldn't tell from the timings if he was many tenths ahead or not but shame whatever stopped him from completing his lap. Let's hope the knife edge track conditions keep on for tomorrow?

All time great Q3 hahaha. Pole in bag twice and backed out twice. Probably fuel related but that was a fun one. Congrats Charles! Hopefully it will be a fun Sunday. Charles, Perez and Hamilton provided us some good racing at Silverstone so hopefully we see this again

Could they not have completed the lap and then pulled over at the side immediately? They must have been very close on fuel

Must have been fuel related for Max. 9 tenths up before he backed out I believe. Dont see why he couldnt have took the flag and shut the car off on track.
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

Ham less than a tenth from first pole of 2022! I guess a mistake in S1 cost him as he was flying afterwards

Good call if it is fuel, better to start p8 than dsq from quali.

It's caught a lot of people out over the years so hats off if they caught it in time

Isn't that what Lewis did in Spain and still got DQ, not sure if the rules says they have to make it back to the pits under their own power and have the sample

He was probably at 1L several turns before the end. That wouldve dropped under the min by the flag.

Rules state that the car must make it back on its own, it would have been dsq if he did that too, I think rb did the best thing

well considering a 100% SC record for this track he wouldnt be in a fatal position if he started last anyways
