But they have to stop at 10PM local time (22:00). This will likely be a sprint type race.
Have any of the trackside journalists/officials mentioned this at all? Might be an exemption for F1

Everyone keeps mentioning the 10pm deadline ... is there any actual source for this? An article or official documents? Sky only mentioned the 3h total and 2h race time

Another 15mins delay on updates. Plus the 10mins needed to get ready. So thats 25mins before teams go out.

Do they need to be on the grid for a certain time? Or can they go out from the pitlane and start the race without mechanic etc on the grid?

even Qualifying finished later than that yesterday. Doubt it's true

Sky suggesting they may shorten the grid build up.

I think it’s total nonsense. Am sure there is a limit but not 10pm

Doubtful there will even be a race. Grandstands flooded.

Had high hopes for this race, but another disappointing and anti climatic outcome, similar to this years championship.

Thought Hamilton might be able to claw back some of that deficit to Russell this weekend, but that looks unlikely now, especially if it’s only half points.

Even if the shortened race starts, it will be behind a boring SC start, and then as soon as Stroll or Latifi bin it in the wall on the first lap, the race will be red flagged to clean the mess up, and that will kill more time of what’s barely remaining.

It’s all just a bit pointless imo. Weather has killed this, unfortunately

Some of the cars look to be fired up now on the live timing/telemetry data.

why is that? Some city regulations?
Apparently they can go in to the night. We’ll have to wait.
