Can understand the delay. Tbh, if it’s wet, there’s likely to be massive crashes, especially with the spray. That would just cause red flags and numerous SC’s, eating up time. At least in the dry, that should mean we actually get some actual racing
You mean in dry we can watch them driving in train with no overtakes and finishing in completely expected order with zero excitement.

Crashing just means red flags and no race. A delay let’s the fans return to their seats also.

It will be embarrassing if it rains again though…

That F1 Media Centre is absolutely amazing. Proper man-cave.

It will be bone dry by the time they start but it is going to be very tricky for the ones who brave it and start on slicks. Once again FIA mocking us fans with their inability to go forward with a damp track. Why even make Pirelli produce full wets?

It still looks very wet as the cars drive to the grid.

What's the point in waiting so long. It'll be dry by then
At least we got a time now and I can go do something else.

F1 is a complete joke. This morning I watched a MotoGP race. As ever, they disregard wet conditions and just go and race. They have full wets that they actually use…
The pirelli wets are so garbage that they(everyone, Pirelli, FIA, teams, drivers) try to avoid them at all costs). There was a point where it was shown that the Bridgestone inters dispersed more water than the pirelli full wets. Pirelli incompetence is why we rarely get to see them race on full wets anymore

I hope for free tyre choice. Different tyres make a race much more interesting.

Yeh, very wearing init. I have it on mute much of the time now. If they are broadcasting commentators, do it from away from the noise.

How long can new inters last on this track and is there a requirement to pit in these conditions?

I think it’s a sad indictment to the state of a sport I love. That we just try and sanitise it to an inch of its life. And then we wonder why so many crash or become poor at wheel to wheel racing. Get on with it. Full wets on and see proper skill
