Does anyone else think that AT's were just a bit too easy to overtake by their sister team? What can the FIA do about this?

There is no rule covering too easy to overtake, just being too difficult if not on the same lap.
Most cars will decide to step aside if they think the cost of delaying will bite them later

Why is it taking so much time to give Perez the penalty ? Its as if race control and the stewards are negotiating with the team at fault. In Indycar or Nascar the penalties are given straight away.

There should be a rule that if a penalty notice is not declared in 1 hour it is automaticly expired

I hope Checo gets a slap on the wrist, i didn't see anything particularly dangerous and it didn't change the race result.

Binotto is saying that Checo twice infringed the rule .

On the official F1 twitter they already posted what can only be described as evidence that he indeed did break the rule, twice.

It seems like Leclerc was fast at the start of stints but still that car degrades its tyre much more/faster than the Red Bull, even on a track like this and even on what should have been a reasonably manageable stint length. This car is a bit Mercedes 2013 at the moment - as, while Max probably should have got pole, I think the Ferrari would have taken it in dry conditions - but they just don’t have the race pace.

Even as a Ferrari fan, I don’t particularly care if Perez is punished. At this point, the points don’t really matter and winning a race hours later because it’s handed to you is not satisfaction.

Checo won on merit. He took and kept the lead all race and had to endure 3 SC restarts while doing so.

The problem (1 of 2) was leaving more than 10 car lengths maximum? Then I think we can punish every driver who at some point in this season sat behind the SC as first in the race. Never has this been adhered to by any of them, they all left too much room at some point.

10 car lengths is very little.

It is also probably difficult to estimate in the dark under lights and both components moving, in this case in different arcs. If a measurement can not be defined, how can they enforce it? The rule should an adversary with a warning issued before a penalty for persistent infringement.

What a clown show F1 is ... three times the same rule breach, one is just a reprimand because of "conditions", one isn't even being investigated and the third one is then a penalty just small enough to allow him to keep the race win... farcical.

Sets the precedent now for others not keeping within 10 car lengths of the SC and each other. Another rule that hasnt been enforced until now.
