Yeah, well judging by the way the camera stays perfectly still after the crash, the cameraman was probably no where to be found. He probably ran off towards the crowd, then came back after.
I saw it live. I think it was Zuber. Andreas Zuber? Something like that.
Pastor Maldonado won. Great race. That guy, Chandhok, left them all behind in Saint Devote, during lap one. Sad for him, he was in first place and broke an axle around the 20th lap, so Pastor took the race. Go, Venezuela!
Luca di Grassi ended in second place and Zuber, who survived the crash without a scratch, took third.
I take the opportunity to repeat by the umptenth time that something has to be done about "the flying car" syndrome, when cars touch wheels. What about small bumpers around the wheels? A simple tube would do the trick.
Im surprised nobody has commented on this particular video..... A rally driver gets sideways, has a little smashup, and a 6 foot tree branch spears through the front window, from the rear, inches away from the drivers face.
Watch it!!

Before I do anything I ask myself “Would an idiot do that?” And if the answer is yes, I do not do that thing. - Dwight Schrute
Rally drivers take risks nobody else does. While you were checking that video, did you follow the link to Latvala rolling down a mountain in Portugal? Ouch.

Yeah, onboards make me --- bricks even if no accidents.
Though, thanks to communication with co-drivers it often yields the most hilarious onboards in motorsport ever
