It would be interesting to see, how much was spent on transporting full wets around world, and how many tyres was actually used.

race resuming at 4:15, so it's going to be like a 43min race, approximately 20 laps, if at that.
FOM got their Suzuka Sprint afterall.🙄

Less than a sprint. The only reason they are doing this is so that they don't have to refund tickets, even though I would argue they still deserve a refund

Why don’t they just stick a car out on full wets to clear the track. 2 or 3 cars spaced out on track should clear that water
How about 20 cars behind the safety car? That would move out out quickly.
Well, 19 cars today of course.

That is stupid.

The driver death was not weather related. It was a human decision and action which created the deadly situation.

The rain does not cause deaths directly.

And one death every 60years? There's been two in the modern at least, BOTH caused by large vehicles in a place they should not have been in.
I could give this back as it was an accident. F1 did send recovery vehicles on track for 64 years when there were racing cars on the track. With a yellow flag only! And nothing happened for 64 years! So sorry - what happened in 2014 was just bad luck.

And even if it was two in 64 years(what was the 2nd one please?) - i still prefer the second one.
Maria de villota, struck a vehicle on pit entry.
I thought she hit a parked truck tailgate in a testing pitlane after she suddenly accelerated with no warning? I remember reading speculation that it was done by her on purpose as part of a suicide attempt, as she ended her life afterwards. Sad😪

13 laps is all that’s needed to award points column 2, maximum of 13 points available
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

Hopefully we'll get some racing, not another Spa 21 waste of time.

What actually is the point of the 3 hour rule. Have the 2 Hour race rule, and just set a deadline for when it is meant to get dark. Pretty simple. F1 is always the last race of the weekend

They could have done this about 30 minutes ago and cleared the water
