Why do they need to red flag a session as soon as someone puts a wheel off track nowadays? Hugely annoying, what a waste of time.
Does seem a bit silly. Red come out when car stuck in barrier. Probably could have been under local double waved yellow.
Mess with the Bull - you get the horns.

So far it seems that indycar is quite a bit above F2

Verstappen completely ruined Shwartzman's lap there by dangling on the racing line

To be truthful....Max was starting a timed lap.

At what point in the session? Just before they passed the chequered flag or a bit earlier?

If it was just before passing the chequered flag, max was given a late warning by his engineer

Duchessa reports that the bumps are similarly bad as 2021. So that means the ride heights will be compromised, as in spa

Bump between turn 1 and 2 nearly wiped Hamilton out at one point

Ocon also had a huge moment in a similar place.

Sainz lost bodywork around the rear caketin in sector 1 also

Didn't they rush the foundations below the track surface, leading to the bumps forming everywhere?

Yes I believe that is true. When building the track they went cheap and quick, fundamentally installing an insufficient drainage system and this has caused many problems over the years.

Here's a link to a comment who seems to be aware of many of the issues with the track's construction

so, will we get to see a Leclerc-Ricciardo-Bottas-Latifi 1-2-3-4 in FP2?

Everyone else in random order, based on which tyres they get

FP2 dedicated to the Pirelli tyre test...no sidewall markings.

Seems a complete waste of a session considering run time is dictated by pirelli, no setup changes, Max Engineer just stater engine mode 6 and NO DRS all session.
