Thank you for your contributions Wazari-san! Let's hope for an even bigger Honda logo next year on the cars and overalls!
No need to thank me. I was one of many who took an underpowered, unreliable PU and transformed it into the PU it is currently with about a 10.5 kW advantage over its competitors. As far as the logo, most people know what's under the engine cover regardless what may be on it.
Holy cow.

Thats 15hp
So much for engine freeze!

The means Toro Rosso chassis is not great assuming this is a qualifying power gap.
That's just a tenth.

Nope! According to D61 for each 10HP they are gaining 0.16 sec/lap hence for 15HP there are some 0.24 sec/lap...

I certainly tell you it was wrong. The 0.1s/10hp was a number used in the V8 days and since then, the cars have become heavier and heavier to the tune of around 150 Kgs in excess. To drag such heavy cars, the power demand increases with the weight. So 0.16/10hp is impossible!

Not sure what you're trying to show with the posting of this video? I've watched it many times on F1TV and it wasn't flapping in any of the corners leading up to the back straight. The way it snaps out made me think it was vortex induced.
I realised it only after reading your discussions about it and then searched and looked the video so there maybe other guys like me. I just added it. I don't try to show more than that.

Has this 15 hp gap always been there this year or only after Ferrari detuned the PU for reliability reasons?

To @SChecoPerez the extension of the #MexicoGP means a lot 🥲 🗣️🏎️

The Mexican pilot also gave a helmet to @Claudiashein 🎁😯 (Head of Government of Mexico City 2018-2024)

Genuine question. What would you attribute the RB18 advantage to? They are 6 to 7 tenths ahead of W13 and on par with SF75 in qualifying and 3 to 4 tenths faster than SF75 in races? Their straight line speed advantage, even over SF75 is rather quite large.

Me and many others have stated on the other thread though that it does not matter where they overspent. There is no specific cost cap on catering for them to say they "overspent on catering". It's all part of one cost cap so the funds spent of "catering" could have also been deducted from something that gave performance to stay in the cost cap.
I guess we'll have to wait for the official FIA report then. The way I read this, is it isn't catering the track in question, which is in the marketing bucket, it's catering at the factory for staff.
The cost cap thread is reopened so hopefully more specifics will be reported there. I really hope transparency is maintained by the FIA here too.

At some point this will be the best fitting thread, but let’s wait for FACTS. We are still in speculation terrain, so better over there, yes.
Rivals, not enemies.
