$500 is only for general admission. This GP isn't really good value and a circuit of unknown quality as well. You could book roundtrip airfare and grandstand tickets to a nice European GP for the same cost as these outrageous grandstand tickets in Vegas.FromGP2toWDC wrote: ↑28 Oct 2022, 00:47Given what happened in Miami, its likely LV tickets will sell relatively quickly and $500 is at the lower end of the price spectrum.

For me, using these classic tracks (and Laguna Seca would be ideal; good geographic spread, history, performance compromises. I really do not know why there is a reluctance to use existing, proven facilities.
.
I think it has much to do with the success of the E racing. The crowd and facilities (off track) ready made and 'city folk' are the ones prepared to spend on events, be they F1 fans or not.
Laguna Seca is not good enough, in terms of safety, for F1 (it's FIA Grade two). Would the track's owners want to spend millions on the off-chance that they might get a race if one becomes available? Very unlikely. Likewise any number of equally "classic" tracks.
General admission that gives you standing room only in a very limited part of the track. Go to somewhere like Silverstone and general admission allows you to walk around the entire track - great on a Friday, for example, when you can spend the two FPs seeing the cars in all sorts of corners / straights.AR3-GP wrote: ↑05 Nov 2022, 02:55$500 is only for general admission. I would assume a huge chunk of it would be 'cooperate' like Monaco.MadMax wrote: ↑06 Nov 2022, 20:16General admission that gives you standing room only in a very limited part of the track.
