Some tibits from Leclerc's interview:
Charles: "We did a great job during the pre-season tests, immediately finding what we needed to focus on and what these new cars needed in terms of driving. Already at the first race I felt good with the car. I had the feeling I could extract the maximum potential"
Charles: "Personally the aspect I liked the most is having a strong front end, and especially at the beginning of the season, the handling was just what I like [when driving]."
Very concerning.

The car lacks a strong front end now.

Yes, they raised the car in order to stay under the AOM metric. Ride height is the most important factor for a ground effects car. Binotto says development stopped a long time ago. I believe development stopped over the summer break as they realised they would need to invest in rethinking the '23 car to run without the porpoising. The current car doesn't porpoise anymore, but now doesn't have any of the early season strengths.

Absolutely tragic. At least he had the foresight to take Perez down with him

The pitwall is completely dysfunctional. Frightening.

Why gamble anyway? It's not like the car is weak in qualifying when on like for like conditions Vs other cars. Imo Charles could've been on pole if they only copied what others do. Gamble when you have little to lose and a lot to gain, not a little to gain and a lot to lose!

yeah, no real need to gamble, but they still had one driver in prime position and on the right tyres. Getting the cars out early was a good call. Sainz should have put it on Pole easily.

Why would they have expected Sainz to be the one to put it on pole? Leclerc has 9 poles to Sainzs…1?

If anything, Sainz should have been the one pushed onto the inters because he had less to lose given his grid penalty and likely not enough pace for pole in the best of times, but Sainz is way too smart for that nonsense and Leclerc is way too nice to use the two letter word “No”.

The worst managed team in all motorsport, including amateur karting.
