What? Russell and Sainz better than Hamilton and Verstappen? :wtf:

Well I guess Russell being on the front row in the lead he won’t be able to wipe anyone out into turn 1

Not a fan of sprint, but I did enjoy that. Why did they not let Checo past?

Odd comment. You say this is how the drivers stack up in terms of talent then. Considering you have removed the car from the equation
No such insuation. I'm refering to the racing at the front. Why does everything have to be driver vs driver?

this particular sprint sort of shows how you could race if you didn't have to nurse tires and save fuel in this era

pretty sure Max had some sort of issue with the car, didn't manage to pull gap since the start, and lost about a second a lap after getting passed, in the dominant (c) car :P

So what makes you say that’s what it looks like when the cars are equal? What else is the basis of your comment and what was it trying to achieve?

He knows exactly what he said and why. It’s just pot stirring to get a reaction and you’re giving it to him.

I think he might have mentioned two things. The latter was clipping Sainz's tire and losing the endplate.

haven't you learned to just ignore what he says?
How do you guys misinterpret his post that much. With equal cars we see 4 drivers in play for the win. Replay this sprint over and over and anyone of them can win. That is the point. We get closer racing when the cars are closely matched. Maybe its so obvious it didn't need to be stated? That's how it looks when the cars are equal.

Additional note, I'll take that in lieu of a practice session every weekend.

What were the start infringements that drivers are being investigated for? Is it a slam dunk rule break or an iffy one they might get a reprimand for?

Even if Lewis get a 5 second penalty he's still P2 but likely a fine or reprimand or maybe even a warning.

Mercedes were a second faster than anyone else.
