I hope that FIA will decide in future to penalise drivers who cause red flags.

I would hate that rule.

It would have to be more flexible than a straight 'you called a red, it's the back of the grid for you' but it has its merits.
I think they should also study some censure for cars pulled in during the race that could easily have been safely parked.

This triggered behavior when things don't go well for one's favorite driver is becoming frustrating to hear. Fans don't decide rules, FIA, teams and drivers do and they very well know there are always situations when one gets an advantage or disadvantage due to the same rules. They can't change it because fans feel pained. For instance, red flag in Imola and Silverstone helped Lewis last year without which he wouldn't be in championship hunt. This time it probably hurt him. Changing rules in any which way is going to bring undesirable outcomes.

Brazil however is the most wretched place, where even drivers' safety is not guaranteed. They should have boycotted the country altogether. You hear about kidnap attempts and such pretty much every year. Also, what makes you think that they would have built a worse one in Rio?

Because there was only 1 FP, Max didn't get the set-up right. Very high tire wear, forcing him to make 2 pit stops. Mercedes only needs 1 pit stop, so that will be a 1-2 for Mercedes.

There is still a chance for Max to win and that is if he changes the setup and will therefore have to start from the pitlane. Then it will be an exciting race and he can still win. If he doesn't do the latter, it will be an easy 1-2 for Mercedes.
