Indeed the tricky bit is it’s not clear which way it would swing. Normally hotter track has less grip.
Yes, however usually if you're a frontrunner you lose temp in your tyres sitting on grid waiting for rest to go to their grid spots. I will not be surprised if one side of the grid gets a big jump

Fwiw, Karun said 6-7C temp diff between the shaded and unshaded sides.

I can’t see how George wins unless Verstappen and Hamilton wipe out. He is very slow on the straight and Hamilton will sail past.
