Wait for the post race breakdown of the car. They don’t know about underneath floor damage as of yet. Like the water leak misdiagnosis with Russell last weekend. Russell will hope there was no damage on Lewis car, because he was slow.
It was a miracle, the car fixed itself mid race before then damaging itself again towards the end.

Sausage curbs take another victim
Can you prove it? Of course not.
Are you seriously going to deny that sausage curbs break cars?

Mate, they even break your back.

Can you prove that the sausage curb didn't break eatons back last year in Cota?

Go on...

those 2 backmarkers not getting out of Perez way may have cost him 2., Gasly and Albon was it?

edit: and Brazil situation would make absolutely no difference

It was closer than expected unfortunately. A lot of things didn't go Checo's way.

Getting re-overtaken on the second straight after his first pitstop. Then getting re-overtaken by Hamilton in the second stint. Then getting held up by backmarkers.

Indeed.

I was happy for him to say no more when Jenson gave him the mic and he felt speechless, but I'm glad he opened up and said what he did.

Hamilton is pulling off a miracle drive here, he's catching up to Russell with a broken floor. 🥱

No, in all seriousness, how on earth did he manage to wreck his tyres so fast after passing Sainz, never seen anything like it from him before, he's really struggled this season.
Your bias and ignorance shows through on every single post. At least you’re consistent I guess 🙄
No bias, just calling it like it is.

He fried his tyres for one reason or another which is very unusual and disappointing from him.

His pace and consistency on the hards showed that he finally got his act together.

That's his season down to a tee, messy and inconsistent with times of promise.
He has not lost his race pace which is his strong point since 2017.
He even beat Russell on qualy (despite the fugazi of Hungary etc)

Think more of the same for 2023. The foundation RB have here is just too strong across all circuits.

The race played out very similar to FP2. Max in his own orbit. Checo able to stay with Max for only a handful of laps before dropping off to Ferrari pace.

He appears to have lost some of his tyre management skills, just look at the first stint.

He mad much stronger pace than the Ferrari's, passed Sainz after letting him back through and within a lap his tyres were toast, that much so he was eaten up by Russell and fell a further 3 seconds behind.
Idk what happened on the first stint honestly, but I don't think you are right. Most of the season he had better tyre management than Russell, and he was very impressive on the Hards today, in France, at Silverstone, and in Spain.
I would say he lost qualy speed, even more than laster (I don't consider Russell to be so strong on Saturday).
