Floor performance dictates the performance of the car more than ever as everyone know. So i changed my focus to floor pretty early. Extending that vortex that comes from the first two vanes (mostly the first on my case) leaded huge amount of suction and -lift so i tried a lot of different shapes-sizes-locations to enhance it.

Interesting floor keel. It seems like it enhances outwash and delays the main vortex formation, shedding it further outward.

I would post images of my car to compare, but it would be a bit misleading without knowing what simulation option you used.
Main takeaway is that my pressure drops are more distributed over the floor, while you seem to be more reliant on localized peaks.
The wings behave in a roughly similar way.

I'm using the mvrc option with max sim time 2000 and base cell size of 0.62.

Impressive performance by Variante, I can't even imagine how I could match that downforce.

However, I am satisfied with my race and championship: my performances have been growing continuously. Congratulations to all, expecially to Koldskaal for winning the title one more time (second or third time?).

I think it was the edition with the highest average level. I can't wait to start a new season in 2023. As soon as I find the time I will start contacting you to assign the prize.

I was convinced you already won in 2019! Anyway, three years at the top, congratulations!

He's the 4th guy to do so in the history of this competition.

And finally a clean performance from my car!
But it came too late, unfortunately.

Congratulations to everyone for the hard-fought season, to G-Raph for the 3rd spot in the championship, and to the all MVRC staff.

I think i'll show it in the next few days, together with a full analysis. But there isn't much going on there anyway...
Still, i should probably wait for the official CFD report to come out first.

Thank you to the MRVC staff and all the competitors, this was very good fun!

Congratulations to Koldskaal for the overall victory and Variante for developing his car to an insane level (I have no idea how I would find the missing 0.35 Cl!). There was quite an interesting scrap for 4th place as well.
I'll say it again... I've been very impressed with the level of all competitors this year. Well done to all.

I could have won it but I was too slow to fix the basic issues of my first design (took me until Race 3), and then too slow again to do proper floor development, wasting the little time I had with crazy bodywork schemes for Race 4. Lessons learnt I guess!

I would be happy to post any pictures once I have recieved the official results, but I think it would make sense for André to post all the cars at once. Something similar to what PurePower has posted earlier (many thanks for that!) would be perfect.

I was thinking about releasing a summary of all previous seasons' results. Seems like it's quite needed...
I'm only missing some data from the first year, 2013.
