This forum contains threads to discuss teams themselves. Anything not technical about the cars, including restructuring, performances etc belongs here.
They will not be running out of money in 2023 and they have access to all of Ferrari's infrastructure, processes and share alot of their personnel.
What makes you say money will not be an issue?
Haas have a new title sponsor which they confirmed will allow them to run up to the budget cap
Haas don’t even have a simulator and the few simulator test they do (which is very few according to Resta) are done using Ferrari’s old, outdated, sim (Ferrari built a new one that they use, but not Haas).
Haas May start well, but they really don’t have the staffing and know how to defeat Mclaren over a season. We can Atleast credit Mclaren that much!
If Mclaren are struggling to defeat Haas by season end, there will been much bigger issues.
It amazes me how little hope people have in the team they are more than capable of building a decent car --- they came in into 2021 with a car restricted by the fia and it came out a regular podium sitter and a race winner even last year starting out in Bahrain 2nd slowest team n still being able to battle for 4th in the constructors, yes they will have a handicap using out of date facilities but that doesn’t mean they can’t build a decent car this year I predict McLaren will have a quiet start of the season in no mans land behind the top 3 an have a very good car in the later stages of the season i reckon Stella will do a very good job as team principal an will hopefully have the team where they need to be in time for the new facilities .
2021 must be one of the least representative seasons, performance wise. The unscheduled freezing and the last minute aero changes at the rear of the cars have reduced the gap between teams and slowed up the fastest cars kinda artifically. The midfielders who would have dreamed to be within 1% of pole position in the hybrid era, where all* suddenly within 1% in 2021, even Alpha Tauri !?
*not all, Alpine couldnt be under 1% - although they tended to be one of the biggest improvers - because they were kinda forced to race the same chassis and engine for the 3rd season in the row. But even Alpine with its zombie car managed to be closer to P1 than in 2020, which was its best season.. lol
If Alpine had built a new chassis and engine like its main competitors he would have been up there with Mclaren in 2021 too.
That's one of the reasons 2021 is not representative for Alpine, Mclaren, Ferrari and F1. It has many anomalies.
Ferrari still had a weak engine** in 2021 at the beginning, and that's one of the reasons MCL could shine at first. But as soon as Ferrari improved the PU, it proved to still have a top 3 chassis even in 2020 and beat Mclaren.
So Mclaren wasnt faster than Alpine in the last 2 regular seasons. Even in 2020 the Renault was faster in the race per average, and won the qualy battle.
So Mclaren needs to beat alpine first ; )
Wow looks like 2014 colors with more Orange. I loved that. The dark grey Blue almost black.
Where do you see it? All i can see are pics from older cars.
The 3ird pic, which is of a nose, has orange around the edge and then a dark grey. It looks like a current nose but I could be wrong.
That's the nose of one of the Vodafone McLarens. It's just that Rocket Red is a very funky colour to photograph.
Edit: Specifically I think it's a picture of the MP4-25 nose cone, as that's the only Vodafone McLaren a quick search was able to find with black Mercedes logos on the nose.

It also says on the jack.
If i would get the money to start my own F1 team, i would revive Arrows

When getting depressed in the winter just bear in mind…
It’s not just McLaren who haven’t won a title in 14 years… 7 other teams haven’t also, including Ferrari!
And for most, it’s been a hell of a lot longer
I’ve lost count of the times the media, fans, and even the teams themselves have talked a team up, only for them to fall flat on their face, so now i sit back, relax, and let all the BS flow straight past me, whilst I look forward to a season of great action, wherever McLaren end up
