Vodaphone McLaren Mercedes MP4-24

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

In the turkey diffuser pic, is that a profile going across the bottom of the mid section?
It's hard to tell in that lighting.
For Sure!!

That is the dolly they push the car around on in the pits and to tech inspect.

check out the new rear wheel covers, now bending inwards towards the center (compared to those tried in monaco), If I am not mistaken those are new.

With a huge brand like that, it might just be they want to advertise a different "name" in this part of the world.

Majority(99%) Muslim population... and the government is finally becoming more democratic and thus the Islamists are coming into power and influence more and more... hopefully the military can be kept under control.

This car doesnt seem to be doing anything positive this weekend. Its a mystery how it ran so well in the practice and then behaved like a stubborn mule in the qualifying. You could actually see the drivers fighting the car, especially Lewis' car, what the hell is wrong with it? Its like it has a mind of its own. :x

i think both lewis and heikki said as the track got hotter the grip just went away and the other cars got faster and faster

the confidence he lost during the 1st corner of his lap cost him, he was 3 tenths down on heikki and sutil in the second sector, if he'd done that he would've made it into q2 and been 2/3 spots higher on the grid, not that it'll make much difference

i really hope they have got a handle on what's going wrong with the car for this supposed big update, for their reputation as a racing team at least and to give the drivers something they're able to push with, they're never gonna have the fastest car now but it'd be nice to see them be able to attack and not have the knife edge handling this....thing....seems to have

it's a shame also since it's the prettiest thing out there
