Why is light shining through to under the diffuser? :D
Those side holes beside the middle section under the diffuser are interesting. hmm..looks like they are letting air atop the car come through those side holes..I wonder what is the idea.. why are they bringin air from the top side to under the diffuser isn't that bad?

OR am i just seeing things.. maybe it is light reflcting from elsewhere?

The middle section looks like a normal double decker though...

I think that is light shining thru from the gap between the floor & the right rear tire... see the light on the pavement right in front of the tire?

Very interesting. There are some similarities to Brawn's design, but also a lot of similarities to Toyota's Bahrain-spec diffuser as well.

Not so much "multi-deck" as BMW was boasting.

That is true, it's just that some people assumed they would have a diffuser with more than 2 levels, since they did not call it a "double" diffuser. German engineering speak is the likely explanation.

I can see that the diffuser has fused design elements from Toyota and Brawn, and that central section "add-on" seems to mimic the Williams design.

Also interesting how Toyota has moved away from curved diagonal edges on their diffuser to a square shape to move more air, while BMW is using curved edges now.

It has two diffusers. One on top of the other one.
The shape of the top one just encroaches on the lower one.

What interests me in the little thing hanging of the back.

It's just a double diffuser in other words, nothing new here.

Except it has a red thing hanging down he was asking about, what is that? sensor?

Just some paint for the guy with the starter, to guide him, methinks. They had that hole painted red on their previous version too.

[EDIT]
Or if you mean that pointy thing higher up, that's the catch for the pitstop-lifting-thingy?
