The presenter said it's a new matte paint scheme, so i think that we won't see too much carbon this season.

The car shown today is the FW44 with the new paintwork.

The FW45 will be launched on February 13, with a filming day at Silverstone. It will be an evolution of the FW44, even if the sidepods will be heavily evolved. The front suspension layout is also new. The FW45 will be aerodynamically more efficient.

Would be great if someone could make a FW45 speculation thread now that we have a launch date and some information from a reliable source

Although it did not show the finished FW45, a Williams statement described it overall as "an evolution of the FW44", although featuring what it calls a "heavily evolved" sidepod concept, with additional "modifications to the front suspension layout as well as the major external aerodynamic surfaces".


Williams claims its soon-to-be released 2023 challenger is "more aerodynamically efficient than the FW44" with "more overall downforce and improved handling characteristics".

Ad to that more overall downforce and improved handling characteristics and it is a winner
