I hate that we're in an era where teams are skimming down on paint to save weight. Tells us the MCL60 is still on the heavy side.
Visually, the nose has become more rounded than a year ago.
Could it be cost/time savings due to budget cap as well?
I was wondering the same thing... Will there be a correlation between black in the livery and the car's weight/performance?
I think it’s the 2022 car, based on the fact that it still has the Gulf sponsorship and the color scheme doesn’t quite match the teaser that McLaren put out (driver numbers inverted, etc.)
Yes, that is the MCL-36 in the backgroundcontinuum16 wrote: ↑13 Feb 2023, 17:18I think it’s the 2022 car, based on the fact that it still has the Gulf sponsorship and the color scheme doesn’t quite match the teaser that McLaren put out (driver numbers inverted, etc.)

They were gradually taking paint off throughout the season to save weight I thinkCMSMJ1 wrote: ↑13 Feb 2023, 18:06continuum16 wrote: ↑13 Feb 2023, 17:18I think it’s the 2022 car, based on the fact that it still has the Gulf sponsorship and the color scheme doesn’t quite match the teaser that McLaren put out (driver numbers inverted, etc.)Aye, thanks chaps - I don't recall it being quite so black..but you are obviously paying more attention than me!bauc wrote: ↑13 Feb 2023, 17:26Yes, that is the MCL-36 in the backgroundcontinuum16 wrote: ↑13 Feb 2023, 17:18

Someone said that car is last year's e-sports car
