Anyone knows if they are doing tests to the brakes and temperature inside the car?

Be patient. McLaren spent a full day of shooting here, I think we already have some information about the chassis.

Are they using any new part different than the base car they've shown? Anyone?

Front end looks just a little bit twitchy at times, but it doesn't mean much right now as it will not be dialled in yet.

Curious to see when Mclaren will start showing some good times like the rest as at the moment are probably focusing on a different program.

Lando will be in this afternoon. I expect a qualy run later in the day.

But McLaren is usually not too bothered to go for fastest laps in testing.

I would expect these 3 days to be focused on Set-up, tyre & reliability evaluation. Ultimate performance can wait till next weekend

Yeah, I think the team does simulate a race weekend. So they will have couple of low fuel runs to simulate Q1/Q2/Q3 and then mock start and a few stints. With the reduced time available they probably won't run full race sim but rather one or two stints.

But they will not be sending Lando out 10 times to get the best lap.
