I don't really know. I am not a mechanic. I'm an accountant. The issue is why did that ever happen from the start? F1 punishes even a simple mistake and Mclaren can't afford to make any if they want to be top.
So how can you judge if it is acceptable or whos fault it is, or how serious it is?

I'm a senior figure in a bank and as you feed upwards you realise the main difference between levels is the ability to be level headed and keep your powder dry until you have the facts. Not intelligence or talent, but approach.

All I am saying is that F1 is punishing with even the tiniest mistake. A team that targets to be top has to be perfect.

Anyway. Is Norris still doing long race runs with hard tyres?

It wasn't all you were saying and the idea that testing will always be problem free is nonsense. If this is the only issue we will have I will be happy, but I'll judge that as testing goes on.

Lando doing 10 lap runs and taking a 5 min break... Hopefully that is for setup changes and not cooling down.

There was also a shot of James Key crossing the pit lane as the car was pulling in... He seemed very relaxed

That was all I was saying. The team mustn't have mistakes as they cost a lot in F1. Anyway. What done is done. Let's see how the rest of the test goes.

All I wish is to start for once with a base car at least in front of the midfield. I would hate to see the team chasing again having to cover up a lot of distance.

Seems the car sits on the keel, seems quite stable, well balanced

On Dutch tv the commentator just said he was talking to the McLaren press chief yesterday whom said McLaren know the car is not where it should be for the start of the season but that a big update is planned to address the car’s shortcomings.

it could just mean they found some good gains that they couldn't exploit in time for testing.

Everyone is a world class Technical Director, Engineer etc. Guys saying "it's unacceptable, it should never happen". Nobody on here is 100% certain what the problem is, "but it should never happen", because it doesn't happen to Tony Stark. Sometimes this place us worse than football twitter.
Not sure what is the problem? Should we say good work, it is really good to sit for 2 hours in the box with the glue gun trying to make the car work?

It is a mistake, it should not happen.

Stable the car because it is slow. Like on the last year’s test. As we have already know.
In addition, usual amateurism
