I will happily support the AM hype this season if Mercedes are still floundering around a bit clueless.

Maybe the doom-mongers can all eat their words and see that the budget cap is helping….

unless you guys legitimately think that HUL in the Haas is within 0.3s of Max, these times are all still useless....

So Aston Martin is a real deal this season. Noicee, finally get to see Verstappen vs Alonso.
Not gonna happen, I see more Alonso causing problems to any split strategy situation for Ferrari or Mercedes (and Perez)
Hmmm, are you sure about that?

If you really think about it, Haas is the only car out of position. So could indicate they were lower on fuel than the others

The rest of the running order is kind of how the pre-season promised.

When I listen to Sky commentators it feels like Mercedes is playing hide and seek, not F1. They are always sandbagging.

I like the enthusiasm going around AM, but in 50 hours from now we will be talking about how it was obvious that AM was certainly better than last year, but nowhere near the fight in front. Which is still a huge achievement though.

FP times are useless and everyone knows this. Aston has a good car but it will not be a top three car throughout this season.

Maybe...but we cannot yet conclude that AMR are not out of position as well...

I really don't see much between Alpine/Aston/Mercedes right now...
Well, apart from AM looking couple tenths faster (at least).
Yeah, that car might actually be quick.
