I don't understand why past mediocrity should be held as a reference to justify the current stupidity. An unfit driver, regardless of what times it was or is, shouldn't be racing in F1.
unfit in the eyes of WHOM? armchair f1 technical geeks or the FIA? last time i heard it wasnt you making the decisions. much more qualified people do. so let them do their jobs and lets move on.
One must be blind not to see him struggling while driving and even getting out of the car.
one must also not be blind that these snippets are just what they are... highlight replays designed to invoke an emotional response. not to mention he did the 6th fastest time and his pace was not significantly slower than the field. hes a grown man.. he can make his own decisions so as he does not endanger others which so far theres nothing to suggest he may.

19 drivers can't be there on the track, endanging lives on the mercy of an unfit driver, who thinks he is fit and can crash at any moment. That's just absurd. If he ends up in a barrier like Grosjean did, he can't even get out of the car and would be charred.

A lot of people are going to be disappointed after this weekend.
Why? :D
1. RB wins comfortably, Max unchallenged
2. AM flops
3. Ferrari flops
3. MB flops

Pick one. One of these will happen

1. Will happen
2. I don’t think AM will flop. Top 3 looks more than possible.
3. Ferrari always flop
4. Merc have already admitted this is a write off.

Not great

I mean even if AM finish on the top 3 would be a great achivement not a flop at all. Ferrari would be the same story as last 15 years and Mercedes is the new pride swallower after great 7 years

What Dan Fallows has done aston Martin is what Peter prodromou should have done a Mclaren.a rising star at red bull who went on to do great things with another team away from the shadows of Newey.

Peter P has been massively overrated, he has been in McLaren for half a decade and still churning high drag cars, guess he is a one trick pony. His departure from RedBull was a blessing for RB as they went towards aero efficiency.

I had a sneaking suspicion Alonso could pull some miraculous win this season but now it looks like sure thing he will give a young bull all he can handle.

Maybe a lot of people thinking the title is won after the first race.

Mercedes  ' deg looks worse than Ferrari's by that graphic.
Is Ferrari expected to have an especially bad tyre deg? Did I miss something?
They don’t, they were fine in Test Session 3. Just countering the prevailing narrative.
;)
Oh, I see. :)
