Whelp, Fred finally picked the right team at the right time. And wow, a purebred British racing team as English as McLaren or Rolls Royce. Nice.

Max, Shaall, Checo, Sainz...Fred is about to give each of you a racing clinic at some point or another this season - so buckle up! Beat downs commencing in 3...2...

Bonus round: with a weak teammate, Fred will have no real inner team challenge to mess with, so he can focus 100% on himself, the car, and strategy with no distractions from a pesky teammate.

This will be an epic, epic year.

Still not an anouncement of Drogovich. :( I think it is not safe to let Lance drive.

I hope that Alonso hasn't forgotten what it's like to drive at the top after all these years in the midfield and at the back of the field ;)

So Aston Martin race pace is worse than their 1 lap pace ? So might get top 3 in quali but struggle more in race? Is that a general assumption of what people think ? I missed all yesterday action

Don't read into their deg. They weren't simulating the same type of stint as others. They pushed tyres from pit exit whereas others eg max/Charles eased into the stint. A gentle introduction makes tyre wear/performance much better.

Leclerc will get the pole imo. Ferrari was on a low PU mode and Charles is a demon around this track

Verstappen for pole by 3 tenths. Cheers!

I agree, but…
I see a lot of people saying it is not safe for him to drive, but when we had Kubica with worse injuries a few years back, it was let him drive, let him drive, whoop whooop.

Aston has very solid deg compared to Mercedes and Ferrari. RB in the hands of Verstappen is the only one who had better deg than Fernando.

I don't quite know about the period Kubica came back, but wasn't he post-surgery and had a long recovery period before getting in F1 again? I don't think people's problem is that Lance can't turn the wheel like Kubica does. It's more about Lance can injure himself again during the race since he still haven't recovered

Kubica couldn’t control the car. I don’t think Lance should be in the car, but don’t think Kubica should have being either, but saying that their is a lot of prejudice against Lance due to who he is and how he is in F1. I’ve seen a lot of posts (majority not in this forum) saying he shouldn’t be in F1 anyway, so it’s good if he’s replaced.

Sainz complaining the "seat cracked a bit. A bit like last year".

Weight saving to the max, but I do wonder how much safety plays into the drivers seat
