Wait RB used the hard tyre. That means they're going to use Soft-Hard-Soft in the race? whereas everyone else is saving 2 sets of hards

Seems not everyone will be on the same strategy

Sam Collins just reckoned the soft isnt going to last as long as people think and could well be a one stopper.

His predictions never come true. He's legitimately clueless especially when it comes to race strategy. Rewatch the Mexico GP with F1tv commentary to hear Sam Collins talk for half an hour about how Max HAS to pit again :D

More than likely not. Id believe a Hard race tyre would likely need to be combined with the medium.

Unless of course the RB has become a tyre whisperer

S-H-S seems far more likely to me :D especially with how much data RB gathered on the C3 in testing & free practices

Albon into 9th with a used soft from yesterday. Looks like the Williams is working better than expected. His longrun looked strong (although probably underfueled) as well

Do wonder if RB were thinking how well they hard was, but Max complained of losing grip with it so could have been temperature related. I cant see the tyre dropping off after only a handful of laps.

Could well be that pushing them that hard on the initial laps just dropped them straight into graining/overheating.
