He was outqualified by a Williams on merit, even with the benefit of exceeding track limits. Shocker.

This budget cap is the single best thing that’s ever happened to F1 as a sport

Sargeant with the worst Q1 exit ever! Tied for 15th! 🤣🤣
I think Albon went off track two times but got away with it. Anyway, good session from Logan, very close to Albon already

Hulkenberg

I've been thinking about this. Surely with Aston being so close to the top 3 is even scarier. As they have even more wind tunnel runs and CFD so surely they will be able to develop much more than Merc, Fer and RB until the mid season point right?

I do not disagree, but I'm curious to see what we think in 2-3 more years time. Last year felt close at first but it wasn't. Times are close but...lets see if a team can emerge in a few races with a clear advantage. It doesn't have to be a big advantage to win out most of the season.

Verstappen started final lap with 6 seconds to spare, then aborted just after crossing start finish line, doesn't say anything on the radio, nor does he gets told a thing, not even where cars are around him. strange

I don't find an issue with a team emerging with a clear advantage if everyone has a good chance at being that 1 team. the problem before was that it was never someone outside of merc/fer/rb
