Wow Charles had absolutely zero ability to fight.
Hard vs soft so it makes sense, and RB are miles ahead at this track.

Slower race pace on 1s slower tire without DRS, what could he have done?

Both Aston Martins are about to do a synchronized attack on the Mercs.
Yep. It'll come. Alonso told the team the take note of their better deg.

Lewis just been told to manage the pace, but then told to pick up the pace as they have some of the best deg on the field? :? :?

He most probably didn’t have the intention to fight anyway. He needs to manage his tyres.

One would think hard would hold up better vs 9 lap soft + quali, but seems not. Wasn't expecting such difference.

He wanted to let Perez pass before the detection zone, to reovertake him in T2 but it didn't happen.

Redbull is dominant again. It's able stretch the life ofbthe softs to the point where it can overtake a ferrari on Hards deep into the stint!

Good for Ferrari I suppose then, they will be on Soft with the lighter car while PER will be on Hards.

Did Perez hit Leclerc’s floor at the start or was it just very close?

Hamilton is now managing the gap at 2 seconds so his looking after the tyres at beginning of the stint has obviously helped with deg
