Am I only one having suspicion that Manor and Campos where only included to be Max's voice on various discussions?

No Toyota and BMW either, even on conditional entries.

Now I need to hope Renault, Brawn and McLaren can solve this peacefully..

Interesting that ferrari appear to have submitted an unconditional entry, also interesting is that Brawn GP are conditional which surprised me a while ago since from everything i'd heard they were one of the teams pushing for a budget cap.

Manor, could one day be good, I am surprised there was no mercedes link there though considering there recent history and that young british driver they brought forward.

Oh and another thing :P I thought USF1 had to be rebadged as USGPE?? or have i got that confused with something else?

I really hope the FOTA teams tell FOM/FIA to f**k off.

Go their own way.

It'll always be the same sh!t every year with Bernie/Max running things... why bother with the hassle every year when a clean break and new series can fix it all in one go.

The FIA think Ferrari's entry is unconditional due to contractual obligations they may have with Bernie.

Ferrari have stated they believe the terms of that contract to have been broken*, so they are no longer obliged to enter.

*namely, they were supposed to have a veto over any regulation changes. They tried to veto these changes, and the veto was nulled. **Seems** like FIA/FOM are in breach of contract to me.

Toyota and BMW are there.

I am very suprised about Lola and Prodrive not being there. Campos and Manor will surely buy cars and not build them?

All existing teams have been included which is a good step in my view. It takes some of the confrontation away. I am disappointed not to see Prodrive on the list. It could indicate that the FIA will not stand firm on the 45 mil € spending regulation in 2011 and will agree to a different kind of resource limitation which effectively will mean an higher spending limit. Not having Prodrive and Aston Martin may be the price for keeping the peace.
Formula One's fundamental ethos is about success coming to those with the most ingenious engineering and best .............................. organization, not to those with the biggest budget. (Dave Richards)

Campos and Manor are there as Max's bargaining chips. They're only there to drive pressure - be it now against the conditional entries, or later in the FOTA-for-new-teams.

Im surprised that Lola and Prodrive didnt enter a joint bid, and become Aston Martin Lola like in Le Mans at the moment. Lola design and build the chassis, prodrive maintain and run the team.

Looks intresting, i think Campos may be able to design and build their car, but im not so shure about Manor, may be a year old bought blue-pring they have to buy.

Im shure cool heads will pervail before close of buisness on the 19th and we will have that entry list for 2010.

and Ferrari have reacted:-
Ferrari shall not take part in the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship until the conditions of its entry are satisfied

Maranello, 12th June 2009 - Following publication of the list of entries for the 2010 Formula One World Championship, which includes Ferrari as an unconditional entrant, Ferrari wishes to state the following:

• Ferrari submitted on 29 May 2009 an entry to the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship which is subject to certain conditions. As of today, these conditions have not been met;

• notwithstanding this and despite Ferrari's previous written notice to the FIA not to do so, the FIA has included Ferrari as a unconditional participant in next year's Formula One World Championship. For the avoidance of any doubt, Ferrari reaffirms that it shall not take part in the 2010 FIA Formula One World Championship under the regulations adopted by the FIA in violation of Ferrari's rights under a written agreement with the FIA.
