I think the race to watch will be for p 2 and 3. Max will take win easy, but it’s hard to say what is going to happen below. I think AM is bringing a couple small updates, and Ferrari a more track suitable wing? If Ferrari work it out, Shaal will fight with Fred for 2nd. Merc will continue to struggle, but that’s like predicting the sky will be blue.

Assuming Ferrari take no penalties:

Quali:
1. Max
2. Shaal
3. Fred
4. Sainz
5. Checo
6. Russell

Race:
1. Max
2. Fred
3. Shaal
4. Checo
5. Russell
6. Ham

He had less than 50% podium rate in 2022 with a car that max won 70% of races with :P picking Perez podiums is not good for predictions

Plus there are more top drivers in the mix this year with AMR close

Very true. Tbh, I’ve lost confidence in Sainz and Checo. Would love to be proved wrong but I’m not seeing it.

Fair enough, but it's a street track and he was on pole here last year. Even if we disregard Max, I would rate this as one of Perez's stronger circuits.

He's generally not someone good at this sort of track with high speed corners. The closer a track is to having more 90 degree corners rather than long radius, perez is better. His weakest tracks are Silverstone and maybe Hungary.. Jeddah is a weird mix of street track but not corners similar to other street circuits

I hear you but he was on pole last year  . While he vanished in the second stint, he did manage to keep Leclerc behind in the first stint. That has to count for something.

I understand the doubt. Perez can be somewhat unpredictable. I still have a good feeling about him.

My predictions are reliability failure for redbull or ferrari and a clash between Alonso and Checo.
This track will produce heated battles for closely matched cars. For sparks to fly, pun intended, you just need drivers that wont back down like Max, Checo and Alonso to be fighting over the same piece of track.
Russel to get lucky again with a safety car and podium. Hard to say what becomes of Lewis, but a steady measured race from him in his slow W14.
For Sure!!

You can use some "Instagram to mp4 converters" for downloading or accessing to the video that you can skip in timestamps
