Isn't the single pillar wing the upgrade ? At least from the reports out a couple days ago, the rear wing at Jeddah and front wing at Melbourne are the planned upgrades. That will put them inline with the performance they saw in the simulator and were expecting at the beginning of the season. Then they develop from there.

The two ECUs admitted for Leclerc's car in the entire championship were damaged in Bahrain.
They will use a third one receiving a 10 places penalty.

Still quite don't understand how they end up damaging a spec part which the same for all 20 cars only on Charles' car twice. Doesn't seem like Ferrari doesn't know how to install it, else even Sainz would have lost the ECU. Something does not seem right with this damage.

Didn't they say it was human error? possibly a poor or incorrect connection or a setting selected when it never should have been?

Then again, Human error covers things like dropping it.

If a switch was programmed for the wrong outputs, they may never know until it actually fails, then of course it is too late.

I find it somewhat hard to believe that the issue didn't seemingly occur once in 3 days of testing, yet they went through 2 on the 1 car over the course of the weekend in Bahrain...

Sort of aligns less to an Issue with the Control Electronics and more of an issue around the car instead, or indeed human error.

Vibration damage or loom/cable chafing causing a short, most likely.

If they're willing to run this again here, my conclusion is that this wing offers more downforce than the double pylon wing for very little drag, given aero efficiency and top speed is paramount at Jeddah

No doubt, we concurred the same here during Bahrain testing :) What organic was saying relates to specific drag level of the wing, which might be too high in Jeddah. On the other hand, SF-23 is very low drag and they can easily spare 1-2kmh of top speed for more downforce, they were already faster than RB19 in Bahrain in all conditions.

Will be interesting to see what they choose for FP3, that should be a definitive indication of Q+R choice.

One question, the single pilon RW has more DW because of the deeper main plain in respect to double pilon version?

Everyone is removing downforce, Ferrari is(considering) adding... this wing MUST move the needle in terms of drag/downforce ratio.
Otherwise, very odd choice lol.

Do you guys think that the new front wing will be the exact same as in Bahrain, but only strenghtened to counter the reported flexing which caused understeer? So a little bit like the single-pillar rear wing strengthened.
