Lando should have been at least P8-9 if not for deciding on the Maldonado Pace setting
calm down, he is the one making the team look better than they are for last 2 years.

People in this thread love to overreact. It is a rare mistake from lando but with the amount of safety cars that the race could have, not all is lost

Annoying. But, again, car not that bad. Would expect Lando to be a bit faster than Oscar.

Again, not all doom and gloom.

Was watching lando onboard when it happened seemed strange he turned into the final corner an clipped the left tyre on the inside wall breaking the steering arm seemed to turn in earlier than normal

It’s not necessarily that errors can’t happen but the facts that the error he made looked like an F2 or even F3 rookies mistake, not a seasoned f1 driver. Mistakes like Spa I can understand, but this was just at a pure lack of attention, it wasn’t like he was pushing to much, he just boneheadedly drove into something

Good job by Oscar! Lando doesn’t make mistakes often, but bit of a dumb mistake on his end, shouldn’t happen on a q1 banker…

Piastri is really really good. Let’s see if he can be fast AND consistent over one season.
Considering one of them already can’t, shouldn’t be too hard
Did you even watch the last two years?

Q3, good job Oscar, only a few hundredths off Hamilton in a mercedes,
Shame that lando did that, could have very well been 2 maccas in Q3

I know I sound like an optimist but if you see 0.3s relative improvement on these times then you literally jump and catch the front pack

Good job Oscar. Good final sector finally too. Pretty much got him to that P9 position

Especially with Max having problems and not getting a time in. Could very well have been both cars in Q3.
