went back and watched the opening lap, it was Oscar's endplate, I would not be surprised if that damaged the underfloor aswell

At this point what is Macca even doing, Slow car, Non-existent strategy and drivers who can’t keep it out of the wall or another car… simply lost for words

Why didn’t they pit at the start of the SC, why didn’t the double stack, so many things they could have done, but they just sat there and did absolutely nothing, what a useless team

Give it a rest. You're clearly in the wrong place if your unable to grasp what's happening. Unfortunate contact, nothing more.

Why do that, when he was last anyway. Then pits before the car goes in, with tyres not impacted by driving slowly behind the safety car.

Bash the team is fine. But nothing really went wrong here.

Scratch that half a second. Unless the update gives a full second the team wont go anywhere this year. The car is not good unfortunately.

Safety car. Brings both cars back into play, albeit from the back. Mediums to the end??
The mediums don’t seem that strong… But it’s an option against the cars around them
They look decent right now, but not so sure they will last. Hards don't look too Great though.

Unlucky to be in a DRS train right now…

Norris seems to have more overall pace but not enough in a straight line to get past anything that doesn’t have a brake failure

Bad luck is basically the abridged version of this race so far.

The car in 2020 had one of the best top speeds and the best in high speed corners. These last two years they tried to fix its mediums and slow speed corners but made it slow in straights cause they lost downforce. Its clear something went wrong which they will correct. All we hope is that update fixes the drag problem by adding all that lost downforce which is what makes the car lose a huge amount of time. That is why I hope the new floor will make a good difference as it will corellate with both wings but the car needs 1 second at least if the team wants to say that they can touch the top teams.

Indeed. Just needs to push and hope for opportunities as the tyres fall away.
