So slow…lets hope that the ”b spec” is significant faster. If not, this is a lost year.

The only way this year isn't already lost is if the B-Spec car comes with an Austrian energy drinks logo on the nose.

You're right. It's better we just get used to the team struggling to get both cars off Q1 instead of expecting any good results.

Why would you expect anything. Surely you've listened to what the team have said this season.

Well…0,4 seconds behind Williams…is that good enough for you?

They can only talk, the result is on the scoreboard.

Not an unexpected result. Car is where we all know, and depends on if a driver can get it all right on the lap. The one where Lando went wide in the last sector looks like it cost him. And his last one had a slow first sector in comparison.

But, the car is where it is. And all very close.

Nice try by Oscar! Lando was absolutely ringing the neck out of the car, but the car loses 4 tenths on the straights so not much can be done. So you need to be on the absolute limit in sector 1-3 to compensate.

- I don't know if the car doesn't like these low grip conditions...compared to yesterday car had plenty under rotation in the slow stuff

I dont have a view on what's good enough for me. The performance here, doesn't really bother me. I'm more interested in whether it gets better over the season.

But I'm not going to go over the top that the car isn't performing, when the team has explained why is isn't performing.

The problem isn't the "The car isn't performing as expected but we're preparing upgrades" speech. The issue is having that same speech for the second year in a row. Knowing that there's a game of chairs in management and having to believe that the wind tunnel will maybe help the team forward by the 2025 season.
Like I said, after 10 years there comes a time where we should all accept this once great team is not a contender for anything anymore.

If they keep this spec for Monaco or Hungaroring...this is 120% certain win for Lando 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The team has 1 drivers title in 23 years. It's not been a contender for a long time. Still a great team though.

Fans of the team, seem fully aware of where the team is. Not great but trying to resolve it.

I dont get tge need for people to come along and point out what is already known!

Yes. Ok. We have accepted. So move on. Whats the point in saying the same things 100 times? Over and over again. It becomes tiresome. Shouldnt we move to a little more productive comments? I am also very dissapointed from the team this year (and the years before) but there is no point in coming here and spilling my guts and complaining all the time. I hear what the stuff said and have a little faith that things will improve from Baku. Being a Mclaren fan needs patience. There is nothing we can do.
