If they did or something like:
Friday: FP1/FP2 as normal. Parc Ferme applies once the car leaves the pits for qualifying.
Saturday: Qualifying/Sprint
Sunday: Race
… then I’d somewhat be more understanding… I’d even go as far as to accept that at most race weekends (give a few exceptions) But the way it is now is disjointed and silly. That aside, you can tell it’s also been used to generate more income for Friday.
