May be hard to determine the relevance of all this analysis in FP1 without knowing who got what kind of tow

Also, track is much hotter in FP1 than what can be expected in qualifying and the races. FP1 is still unrepresentative, except it's the only practice session so it is what it is.

yeah, lando got a decent tow from Piastri, but not sure he was the only one

Wow, how are we half a second faster than Hamilton who had a tow

Edit: perez made us look faster than we are, Ver is 9 tenths quicker.

Without updates, we would not have passed in Q3 100%

Not bad at all, and P5 so far. On a track that would have been our weakness pre upgrade.

We are closing in on Aston Martin.

pleased for Piastri - good strategy from Lando's side of garage and getting so close to Alonso is very encouraging, especially considering this isnt the easiest of weekends to bring in a new big upgrade
