oh well, top 8 positions are locked in either way, so P9 is the best we could do with or without Hulk/Ocon being there

Where those people of Red Bull who were coming out to celebrate at that last lap when Ocon was entering the pits?

Not the best race, but could have been a lot worse without there upgrades. Hard to judge given how stuck we were. Everyone was struggling to pass. On to Imola!

2 points... better than nothing, car in free air was decent, obviously straight line speed was a big issue, although I think it was rather compounded by the fact that nearly half the grid struggled to overtake on the straight... it didn't help that they shortened the DRS length either.

The car does seem to have improved significantly being best of the rest in a GP that has the same characteristics as Bahrain compared to what was happening in Bahrain where the abandoned car was fighting the Williams.

Could Barcelona be the big upgrade before summer?

Do you think Red Bull will finish this championship without losing?

Yes but only if something weird happens during the race (which it inevitably will)

You know there is a haunted record of the MP4-4 with Senna and Prost (they got all poles and lost only one race in 1988) and I would hate to see it getting beaten.

Had Lando come out of the first corner infront of the Haas, it could have been a worthwhile race for him

Onward to Miami. Can we expect tweaks or small upgrades race by race?

i donno, but remember they had next to no time to "tune" the upgrade this weekend - its almost certainly not optimum even with what they got now

Hopefully they can gain some more tenths with tuning this upgrade on the next days.

Straight line is still weakness. But they seemed to be competitive around the castle section and some of the slower speed stuff.

Hoping to fare better in Miami

What was the difference between the car of 2021 that won Monza, got a pole in Sochi and nearly won Sochi being also competitive to top speed circuits and the cars of 2022 and 2023? How was it possible for the car to lose its top speed advantage? The car isn't slow in terms of aerodynamics. We can see that in the aerodynamic part of the race.
Just an small difference… A completely different set of regulations
