This track is dustier than my grandma's house, do they not sweep it? Hamilton touched a kerb and it seemed like he was about to beach that car in a sand trap.

Mercedes have to be awkward and do the opposite like they often do, not letting the track come to them and straight on to long runs on the medium, a tyre that won't get used.
queue the chirps from the uneducated ranting how merc is DOA this weekend after P18/19 at fp1

edit: and theyre now P1/2
Glory run more than likely.
Lewis spent most of the session on one set of mediums! and then only switched to the softs at the end!

That Russell is handy, straight out the box and comfortably fastest.
Having watched both onboards, he pushed much harder than his teammate, typical Mr. Saturday!

Noted on Russell's onboard during his fast lap, he reported no deployment out of turn 1. Obviously didn't cost him too much.

No reason to push to the limit in a non-representative practice session, specially on a street circuit, that's how you damage a car, and screw up the rest of your weekend........

How many races this season has Russell done that in practice?

And you are completely jumping to conclusions by suggesting Russell was clearly pushing harder because you saw the onboards, were you watching both at the same time?

Yes, because I've got a multiple monitor work pc. Since I have an f1tv account I watched each one 4 or 5 times before I posted!

So, Russell pushed harder in the first two sectors and Hamilton pushed harder in the final sector? Let's just agree that Russell was over 2 tenths faster, it doesn't mean much now but I see a trend developing.

Believe me or don't, I don't care. Button said as much during the broadcast!
