Vettel was making unforced errors, Leclerc is making errors when pushing the car to the limit to try and maximize the potential. I wouldn't put them side by side.

Just watched slow mo. It looks like car bottomed out.
Yeah, soft suspension, took too much curb and coming off it he bottomed it mid corner which started slipping the rear and then was unrecoverable.

What I would say is why push so damn hard when you don’t have the race pace to stay p1 anyway. Would be better off giving up a tenth but keeping the car in one piece and ending up on the second row than ending up on the fourth and potentially an expensive rebuild

Exactly. Charles is really pushing it to the limit. On the one side I like that attitude. But on the other side it just poor risk management.

He just pushed way too much. Its first sector was already quite fast in the fist run, in the second he was pushing like a madman with a lot of personal best microsectors and even a purple one.

He can't resist trying to be the best even when the car is not up there.

Setup choice too. Leclerc like's that edgy setup. It's faster that way, but you have to be perfect with it. Carlos didn't have any issue in that corner but we know he sets up a bit weaker front end.

Is Leclerc going to make more and more errors as Vettel did after Germany 2018?
People said the same after France 2022 (and nothing happened). It could be though, considering the car is not good this year, so it will require taking more risks to achieve great results.

It’s becoming a habit for Charles, again. He needs to stop pushing all the time. Sometimes you survive and then go again.

yes, of course the oversteery setup is more prone to that type of crash, but it is still a stability problem, and I thing that ferrari should fix it, because sainz will be more confident with the car, and leclerc will be more reliable

Great stuff from Charles, amazing speed vs Sainz at Sainz' best track this year. What an improvement in T4-T6 section since practices, keeping flying RB19 more than honest 8) What a lap it would have been, too bad he's so unlucky with crashes. Max made the same error and drove away - and people think luck has nothing to do with it

Easy podium for Charles with the right H-S(M) strategy tomorrow 8) Lets see if Vassuer holds his word and gives the right strategy to the better driver 8)
And they call it a stall. A STALL!

Don’t know if you are being sarcastic about Charles. He crashed twice in the same corner. Hope he can do 50+ laps tomorrow. I hope he just overtakes Sainz on track and not wait for team orders or anything. And hope hope he steers clear of enthusiastic russel at the start.

Max lost the car on the corner or 2 before the one Charles did. No luck about it.

It’ll be a challenge for Charles to get pole tomorrow…. They want to hope that other things aren’t damaged like the gearbox, floor etc if they were running the new one on Charles car
