F1 data analysis shows we are 1 second off the pace in their qualifying estimates. The 7th fastest car. But at the very last sentence of the article it says sources suggest we are "much closer" and the team are learning the package, to expect us to be in the fight for Q3.
I expect both cars in front of Alpines and Williams and Lando in front Stroll.

I can live with p8/p10 today.
Well well
Hey, you got Lando ahead of Stroll correct though, it's something!

And 1 Williams 😅
To do something well is so worthwhile that to die trying to do it better cannot be foolhardy. It would be a waste of life to do nothing with one's ability, for I feel that life is measured in achievement, not in years alone. ― Bruce McLaren

I find the drama quite entertaining atp… track was warmer today, so obviously not the cars ideal window… but will be much cooler tomorrow… maybe even rain, Lando also mentioned in his post interview they did tweak the setup more towards the race, from the onboards yesterday, the front right and rear right were hammered within 3-5 laps even in cooler conditions… so make senses.

Obviously a lot of people including myself hate the position the team is in… and I also believe they should be performing better. But field is ultra compact this year, once the car slips even the slightest out of its ideal window that could mean 2-3 positions, all they can do is take constructive learning from this session and improve.

- Main concern for tomorrow is the shortened DRS (if its not wet) although our straight line speed here isn't bad, I'm afraid FIA shortening DRS could lead to something similar to Baku...I came to realize Lando's car particularly is always very slow on the straights, even compared to Oscar... or even Daniel last year, its because he likes more front end hence more front wing. So that's why we've seen him particularly on several occasions such as Saudi, Australia, Baku struggle more with overtaking..I hope both our guys are able to overtake tomorrow.

We are terrible. Going to be another tough year. Don't know why I've bothered to even watch the highlights. There is zero things interesting about F1 nowadays.
Finally, everyone knows that Red Bull is a joke and Max Verstappen is overrated.

Then don't watch it. Why post that here? It adds absolutely nothing to the conversation.

At least you are signing new people and will have a new windtunnel ready soon. Other teams can't say that.

Yes, turns out those sources were very wrong!

Plus we were slower than estimated...

Looking at telemetry our fastest trait is still corner exit, it is just that soon after corner exit we are mugged on speed.

How is the entry and mid-corner performance?

The team now the car was a mess before the season. They are trying to catch up, they sacked the TD, and have been bringing people in to build the strength up.

It's unfortunately a work in progress.

But those tractor pictures or saying brick are justvso damn witty though...

I don't even think we were that bad on the straights relative to every car other than the Red Bull, it was weirdly in 1 or 2 corners we lost everything

Ham: Turn 16 and 17 +0.5
Per: Turn 17 +0.5 (we were within 0.25 of Perez before the last corner... and he went P3)
Sai: Turn 11 and 17 +0.6
Lec Turn 11 and 17 +0.5

We lost the entirety of the lap time in one or two corners...

Lando Q1 P16 vs Sainz Q1 P2 -0.708

Lando loses nearly half a second in T11

Unfortunately the intention behind it is just to troll.

5 races he's been repeating the same thing. 4 races he's been wrong and now we have a genuinely poor car performance he's all over the trolling.

Inevitably his posts will be removed like the rest, in the meantime the majority have since blanked him, as I will continue to do.
