It's impressive that you haven't considered this might have been sarcasm.Andres125sx wrote: ↑12 May 2023, 08:16That´s the best use you can think about for a car wich is faster than F1 cars on starts, low speed corners and braking from medium speed?

How many cars do you know wich are faster than F1 cars for any ammount of laps? For half a lap maybe? None?vorticism wrote: ↑12 May 2023, 17:18For around 10 laps. If it was sarcasm, please post some smilie or something, my crystal ball is under repair and right now I can´t predict people´s intentionsSiLo wrote: ↑13 May 2023, 20:00It's impressive that you haven't considered this might have been sarcasm.Andres125sx wrote: ↑12 May 2023, 08:16That´s the best use you can think about for a car wich is faster than F1 cars on starts, low speed corners and braking from medium speed?
What have I started...vorticism wrote: ↑15 May 2023, 05:45SiLo's street sweeper comment has spun out of control. Was just riffing off the humorous reaction to it by Andres125. It is a novel craft with amazing stats but in seriousness it cannot hang with an F1 car or really most motorsports cars on a level playing field, as you know. The skirt tech could be transferred, and this would be interesting (it would certainly alter driving styles).
I thought the ridiculousness of my suggestion was enough for it to be obvious, my apologies!Andres125sx wrote: ↑15 May 2023, 08:02If it was sarcasm, please post some smilie or something, my crystal ball is under repair and right now I can´t predict people´s intentionsSiLo wrote: ↑13 May 2023, 20:00It's impressive that you haven't considered this might have been sarcasm.Andres125sx wrote: ↑12 May 2023, 08:16

So for first car ever to be faster than F1 cars, and best use you can think about is street sweeping?
Guys, your hate towards anything electric do you no favour as motorsport fans
If it can do 10 laps of Silverstone as claimed in that video (~33 miles) then Pikes Peak should be within reach at ~12 miles. Since it's all paved now with no curbs I'd think this would be an ideal location. Since it's a customer track car I predict someone will be sending it up within a year or so after deliveries.
Pikes Peak and Nurburgring both have atrocious road surface for a fan car. The Spierling seems ideal for either a Nordscheife or Pikes Peak run.

Pikes Peak looked smooth when it was paved although this was several years ago by now. They could keep track of smooth and rough sections and alter fan use based on that.NoDivergence wrote: ↑16 May 2023, 02:18Pikes Peak and Nurburgring both have atrocious road surface for a fan car.
