honestly why are people all of a sudden so triggered by a red flag incident. its their loss if they didnt set a good banker lap and its all part of the game. i can understand if it was proven to be intentional a la michael 2006 but these things happen. lets stop being so pansy all of a sudden.
There is no sudden trigger. The last couple of years have had many incidents that show the qualy rule set is broken as it stands. Securing poles/high starting positions by binning your car has nothing to do with racing. Whether its intentional or not.
Other classes have figured this out a long time ago btw.
