I noticed he was lifting more in the final corner compared to FP1 so that's probably the tradeoff, quicker on the straights, but slower in the corner.
Everyone else had minimum speeds in the 250+ for the final corner, Hamilton was in the 240s.
Yeh 4 tenth down compared to George in S3. The rear also looked very unstable during his medium tire run.
With the threat of rain on Sat/Sun, it would seem sensible to switch back to the higher downforce spec like many other cars have been running.

A lot of people are bringing updates to their cars and we weren’t expecting to be setting the world on fire. We just need to learn what we can from the info we have and try to move forward tomorrow.”
