I suspect RB will go for the Bahrain strategy. Two stopper. S-S-M
I'm not sure about that. All of the practice starts out of the pitlane were done with mediums for RB boys.
I think M-H with potential for Max to go to S for fl push at the end. That would maximise the points.
Max did a soft tire grid start at the end of FP2 (might have been FP3, can't remember).

M-H with the low track temps forecast seems unlikely.

Doesn't really matter what tire he's on tomorrow tbh.

Imho that was just a consequence of trying to make (both, he did yellow too) long runs as long as possible.

Apparently RB did not want to send Max back out for the 2nd Q3 run, but it was Max who insisted.
"The team first said I would not drive, but I wanted to drive myself, because I knew there was more in it. In the end, they did say we would go out and they would let us know if anyone went faster. In the end, nobody went faster," said Verstappen, who was still two tenths under his time at Turn 10.

the definite tyre list isn't up yet, but contrary to most other teams (which returned a set of hards after FP3, despite not using it), Red Bull seems to have kept two sets of Hards for the race. So I guess they plan to use at least one of those.

Makes sense allowing him out. The team probably knew the lap time was good enough and wanted to keep miles off the components. Max wanted to start on pole so he wanted the chance to have a go at anyone wanting to knock him off pole.

Fear of reg changes is a interesting one. In this era of cars, where they are all pretty close to each other and finely regulated. How do you/FIA integrate reg changes to hinder RB? There was one last year and RB designed their car around it (TD039 and floor heights). All this in a time where RB have reduced CFD/Wind tunnel time.

Adrian didn't look too impressed with Checo.

I don't think anyone in that team is, at this point. I see two paths for him:

A- He keeps doing stupid errors in his futile dream of challenging the best driver in F1 on equal terms, and will probably lose his seat really fast.

B- He accepts his level, drops into a support driver mode, and keeps picking up the odd win here and there, in which case he might stay in RB.

Whilst Max is there, realistically it’s option B. Max is a driver that can do a whole race and be within .2 each lap, whilst being able to drive with absolute precision.
Perez literally has no pressure, he’s making it harder for himself by messing up and dropping points and getting into the battle for 2nd in the WDC with multiple other drivers.

Alo is also some way back, Lewis is promoted to the second start row due to Gasly’s costing both Max and Sainz. So Checo can still bounce back from this tomorrow.

Verstappen says there will be a new floor in a few races. He might be referring to Silverstone
"In the end, I don't think it matters very much. This is our floor now, but in a few races we will have a new floor again. That one will be completely different again. It won't matter that much," said the championship leader.
