Without rain, McLaren will be slow.Chuckjr wrote: ↑04 Jun 2023, 08:58Really impressive lap from Lando. The Macca is so good in the corners here. Maybe Lando will be able pull away over 1 sec in the corners to keep guys from blowing past with DRS on the straight. I think Lando will be able to follow better than others, and with the long DRS straight, maybe some magic tomorrow? If it rains I think he podiums.
Really can’t believe the pace Macca found. I’m shocked and impressed. Will be a treat to see Lando in a competitive car tomorrow. Hope Macca can deliver a good strategy tomorrow. Carpe diem.
Norris made a mistake in FP2, so his best sector 3 time came on old tyres. As mentioned on the other page, he would have finished 2nd or 3rd in FP2 as well with a clean lap.
Track temp is the real issue. Hopefully a bit of rain will cool the asphalt. That would help us massively
Yep! If it doesn’t rain at the very least we need cloud coverage… there is a thermal limit on the tyres around here as it is.101FlyingDutchman wrote: ↑04 Jun 2023, 10:31Track temp is the real issue. Hopefully a bit of rain will cool the asphalt. That would help us massively
