Lando must have obtained more damage than just the front wing as his lap times were horrible back there.

Silverstone cannot come quick enough. Race pace is dreadful.

Yesterday was a small miracle coming from nothing, turning into nothing by Sunday. Nothing to say just an another shame race that had bacome an average race for us

I know this is incredibly clutching at straws which I hate but I disagree to an extent, Perez who started his last stint on fresh tyres and chasing Russell for a podium was only 5ths a lap quicker than Norris’ last stint who started the stint on used softs.
Personally I think Norris COULD have finished 6th.
Just a fan's point of view

Is what it is, if you think the race pace was bad on a cooler circuit with high-speed corners... next race is going to be a treat

Oh well. Shame with Lando, as I think he would have been in front of Ocon. Not sure what happened to Oscar. Just seemed to fall off.

Very disappointing after yesterday’s great qualifying. The car is still a brick.

The car is still the car, the one that was bad in Miami. Its just a car, that in a certain condition can be quick over a lap.

Alpine have stepped up though, so will need a hood improvement to get above them.

this is why I had tempered my expectations...

Whilst drag is a big issue that isn't the fundamental problem in my opinion.

- The car is very different on heavy fuel... the cars are heavily reliant on the mechanical and aerodynamic grip produced by the car. In qualifying the new softs provide additional grip which mask a lot of the fundamental aero and mechanical inefficiencies. The McLaren as the telemetry suggest struggles during off throttle and late braking phases in medium to low speed producing understeer.. when the car has more fuel you are off throttle for larger chunk of the lap thus the overall time loss grows.
