Any thoughts on level of detail now compared to the other top teams?

I know many of you knowledgeable folks had said Aston floor edge was on the basic side for this opening part of the season- does this upgrade excite you at first glance?

I like this design more than what the Red Bull is doing. I think it will more or less accomplish the same thing (I know, I do not have flow data) however, I like this one much more. The tighter lines look to be more aggressive to the airflow. I would LOVE to see how they are getting that outwash to merge into the "channel" cleanly. It must be incredibly accurate though if they are using such aggressive corners.

The new sharkfin is clearly inspired by Red Bull.

The whole edge has been reshaped. The neckline in the back part looked completely different before.


From this perspective, too, it is easy to see how the air between the underbody and the side boxes is routed to the rear.

expert folks can give us more detail about the small wing in circle. small winglet and also bulge at rear wing

Rear wing endplate buldge was there from launch.

The brake duct treatment could be new though.

It seems the big sidewall has come back after being removed in Monaco. But the pieces on the halo tested in Barcelona haven't appeared yet.

It is definitely a step towards RedBull's solution!

According to BSport's video, the new waterslides avoid a possible issue with the previous version, where they started right after the sidepod split line and that could have weakened the flow or even caused separations. Now they start farther away from that area.

Or they had to relocate some internal components to a higher position, because they created a bigger sidepod undercut and there is no room anymore to start the waterslide as close to the sidepod opening as before.

The post-canada overhead view now reminds me a lot of the Ferrari bath tubs. Potentially aiming to enhance inwashing effect with this upgrade? Although the angles are certainly different, which could be creating an illusion in that regard
