Race control needs to do the right thing and either extend this session or tack it onto fp2. So far its a commercial and technical disaster

The time is not being stopped because there need to be 2.5 hours between seasons.

I never understood why FPs were shortened. At least moments like these, the fans wouldn't have lost a lot.
