On German Sky, Marko said that the track is much more bumpy than expected, far worse than last year.
So in 1 year, absolutely nothing at this circuit has improved...In fact, everything is worse

No one will run in the rain during FP2, and F1 will use that as an excuse to say the weekend doesn’t need extra practices to have an exciting race on Sunday. Pathetic organization by the local officials. And people should get their money back.
They might if rain looks likely for qualifying, a few exploratory laps and back in.

I thought people would be moaning about the loss of the FIA's track cameras. I'm
going to take a wild stab in the dark and say they probably have to have those running for the
insurance to pay out if something goes wrong. Anyway it is what it is, a snail is faster than
the FIA in reacting to a problem.

Red Bull must be cheesed off, given they had a lot of aero testing to do.
RB barely had any upgrades so doubt that.

AMR though...

I never understood why FPs were shortened. At least moments like these, the fans wouldn't have lost a lot.
Used the pandemic as an excuse. Pre pandemic it was always 1.5hrs

This is typical of Quebec, broken infrastructure, corruption, negligence. And there's always a BS excuse.
Hopefully we get a good race at the end of it all, imagine this on Sunday ?!... I'll want my money back thanks.

Why must there be 2.5 hours between FP's?
Repair any damage (and the marshals to have a pee)

So they are afraid that some hooligan will storm the race control building.
They can just post the burly security guards outside. They already did a good job with kettling people through the pot wall yesterday

FIA doc said they had to be returned 2 hours after FP1?
